Inanna and Gilgamesh

Having just read Pseudoknot's translation (and thus keep in mind I'm trusting it's correct), I just wanna say this: Gilgamesh didn't refuse Lady Inanna's hand in marriage because of his "loyalty to the human race" or whatever.  He refused Her because She's a yandere, and he didn't want any part of that.  He explicitly said he didn't intend to meet a similar fate as the horse, the lion, or Dumuzi.
